A NEW service station complete with M&S Simply Food outlet has officially opened in Taunton.
The venue, off the Cross Keys roundabout on the A358, also features a Wild Bean Cafe and is set to create 18 new jobs for the town.
Louisa Laffan, BP district manager, said: “The new store and introduction of the M&S Simply Food range means we have been able to create eighteen new jobs for people in the local area.
"It’ll be open late, providing customers with a selected range of Marks & Spencer’s high quality fresh, innovative food alongside the best of BP fuels and our very own Wild Bean Café."
The opening will be a relief to drivers, who endured weeks of delays while work was carried out at the site.
As well as the M&S outlet, the venue also offers an accessible toilet and a baby changing-room.
