THE outstanding achievements of staff and volunteers across Musgrove Park Hospital and Somerset Partnership have been celebrated at the sponsored Our People Awards.

The accolades celebrate those who go the extra mile to provide outstanding care to patients, who have gone above and beyond to work together, and who have made a real difference to the lives of others by listening and leading.

The final nominees from more than 200 entries attended an awards evening at the Cooper Associates County Ground, in Taunton.

Peter Lewis, chief executive of Musgrove Park Hospital and Somerset Partnership, said: "I am very proud of the stories we have heard about how our staff and volunteers are making a difference to the lives of our patients and each other.

"We are exceptionally proud of all of our staff and the care they provide each and every day. These awards are a real testament to some of the hard work that we know takes place every day in all our services across Somerset."
