HOUSEHOLDERS are being given plenty of warning about changes to kerbside waste and recycling collections over the festive season.
Pick ups across the county will be as normal for a Monday on Christmas Eve, but people should not leave their bins and boxes out on Christmas Day and Boxing Day - collections that will be two days later than usual, including Thursday's on Saturday and Friday's on Sunday.
With New Year's Eve (Monday) pick ups as normal, there will be no collections on New Year's Day and bins and boxes will be emptied a day later for the rest of the week.
There will be no garden waste collections from December 24 to January 4.
All services will resume as normal from Monday, January 7.
Recycling sites will follow their usual schedules apart from closing at 4pm on Monday, December 24 and 31 and remaining closed all day on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
