MORE than 30 Mini drivers descended on Westerly Bridgwater Mini’s car showroom on Sunday (November 11) as a part of a Remembrance Sunday event.
The Mini charity car club, called ‘Under The Mini Moon’ arranged the drive, which set off from Westerly Mini with a two-minute silence before heading through the South West to Yeovilton to finish up at the Fleet Air Arm Museum.
A total of 31 Minis took part in the event, raising more than £600 for the Help for Heroes charity.
Under The Mini Moon founders Gary and Sarah Taylor they usually raise money for the Make A Wish Foundation with a car show in August, but decided it would be good to do something different to mark the centenary of the end of the First World War.
The club was set up in Burnham-on-Sea but has members from across Sedgemoor.
