A MAN-EATING plant isn’t the only thing that will be taking over the stage this month as a musical theatre group is set to put on a spooky show.
The Burnham Excellent Entertainment Society juniors will be performing their production of the musical Little Shop of Horrors on November 25 and 26 at The Princess Theatre and Arts Centre in Burnham-on-Sea.
The affectionate spoof of a 1950s sci-fi movie has become a household name, thanks to a successful film and a score by Disney favourites Howard Ashman and Alan Menken.
BEES member Sandy Ballantyne said: “It’s a great show and we’re having a great time doing it. Mind you with a murderous plant and a foul-mouthed dentist, it’s not suitable for very young or nervous children.”
Tickets cost £5 and are available from theprincesstheatre.co.uk or by calling 01278-784464.
