A HUGE First World War memorial called the Poppy of Honour visited Bridgwater today (Wednesday, December 7) during a tour of Somerset.
The Poppy of Honour contains the handwritten names of more than a million men and women who went missing or were killed during the First World War and encased in a double-sided glass case.
The massive steel and glass memorial was officially unveiled in Wincanton during October after the British Legion spent years raising funds for the project.
It is making just under twenty stops around Somerset, before going on to visit other parts of the UK, the Republic of Ireland and Belgium.
