JAZZ vocalist and songwriter, Zoë Gilby is making a stunning impression on the music scene today. South Somerset’s music fans will get the chance to hear her in full voice at Ilminster Arts Centre on November 30, when she performs with her quartet.

This is Zoe’s first visit to Ilminster, one of a series of ‘rural touring’ gigs that she has been doing for the past two years, along with appearances at prominent jazz festivals and venues both nationally and internationally.

Zoe’s compelling original compositions are written with double bassist husband Andy Champion but her repertoire also encompasses a wide range of contemporary material from composers such as Pink Floyd to Kate Bush, with influences from Sheila Jordan and Joni Mitchell.

Advance booking for what promises to be a memorable evening of music is recommended.

Tickets £16 (pre-show supper £15 at 7pm, must be pre-booked) can be booked at the Arts Centre or from the Box Office on 01460 54973.
