SOMERSET is off to a chilly start for Halloween.
Cars will be icy this morning as temperatures slowly rise from 0 degrees Celsius.
Temperatures will hit highs of 12 degrees at around noon, as well as a chance of rain around the same time.
This evenings temperatures will be around 9 degrees - so trick or treaters will be happy.
A South West spokesman for the Met Office said: "Showers will push in from the south at times through the day, perhaps with some thunder in a few places.
"Between any showers there should be some bright spells and it will feel less cold than of late. Maximum temperature 14 °C.
"Showers will continue this evening and overnight, possibly heavy at times. Some more persistent rain is possible in eastern areas for a time. Minimum temperature 5 °C."
