RESCUE: Firefighters freed a child locked in a house in Haywood Road
A TODDLER was rescued by firefighters after getting accidentally locked in their home.
Fire crews attended Haywood Road, in Taunton, after the two-year-old's parent reported the incident at 10am today (Tuesday).
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Shortly after arriving on scene and liaising with the worried parent, our crew gained entry to the property via a first floor window, using a triple extension ladder.
"The child was reunited, unharmed, with their parent."
