A MAN is still being hunted by police after a theft of more than £6,800 from a vulnerable woman in Chard.

Avon and Somerset police's investigation team have renewed their appeal to find a man they would like to speak to in connection with theft, which took place between June 21 and July 9.

The victim was a woman in her 80s.

PC Tracey Bell said: "Her post office card was used in several location across the local area, with the pin number, to withdraw the money."

In the initial appeal, police said they believe the victim's card may have been cloned.

Police urged the man, or anyone who recognises him, to contact them using the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 5218164203.
