YEAR 5 and 6 pupils from Chard School enjoyed an action-packed week at the PGL camp at Osmington Bay.
As well as enjoying more laid-back pursuits, such as a picnic on the beach, children later participated in activities such as aeroball, building a shelter that they could survive in if they were ever lost in the wild, taking on a zip wire and quad biking.
Headteacher Katie Hill said: “Over the week the children all faced and conquered many of their fears and made memories that we hope will last them a life time.
"They were an absolute credit to our school and should feel very proud of their adventurous achievements. We are very grateful to Mrs Pielesz for organising the trip for the children and to Miss Jennings for accompanying the children for the week.”
