A HANDFUL of cars have been targeted in a tyre-slashing attack.
Residents of Manning Road, Cotford St Luke, woke up on Sunday, October 7, to find more than six cars with flat tyres.
One resident, who wished to remain anonymous, said the road was woken up to the noises, which sounded like someone banging on the doors, at around 4.30am.
Police were called to respond to the reports of criminal damage.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said: "We were called at about 4.30am on Sunday October 7 to Manning Road in Cotford St Luke near Taunton following a report of criminal damage.
"Several cars had their tyres damaged.
"Enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with information should call 101 and quote reference 5218224477."
