THE blustery weather has claimed its first victim this morning as a large tree has fallen down in Parkfield Road in Taunton.
Somerset Highways are currently on the scene dealing with the situation which fortunately is not having a major effect on traffic and there appears to be little other damage caused.

The wind and particularly rain look set to continue into this evening.
