Caravan destroyed in early hours blaze
A CARAVAN was totally destroyed in a fire in the early hours of this morning (Friday).
Somerset fire control received several calls about the incident in East Lyng at 3.31am.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "One fire appliance from Taunton attended and upon arrival crews confirmed this was a small caravan well alight.
"Crews used one main jet and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
"The caravan was 100 per cent destroyed by fire."
