A MAN leaving a shop with his two young children was threatened to be killed in a "completely unprovoked attack".

During the incident outside the One Stop shop in High Street, Wellington, the culprit approached the victim, threatening to kill him and shouting abuse.

The man was physically threatening and advanced on the victim until he left the area, according to police.

The wan to speak to this man in connection with the hate crime on Tuesday, September 18, just after 4pm.
