BURNHAM MP David Heathcoat-Amory has joined a campaign to allow people to have their say on European reform.
Mr Heathcoat-Amory is part of a group of MPs demanding Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, grant a referendum and let the British people decide the future of the country.
"We all have very different political opinions about the future of the country," Mr Heathcoat-Amory said. "But we all agree that people should be given a choice.
"It's a democratic campaign, I've always believed the big decisions in politics should be made by the people, and there's no more important issue than the European Constitution."
The group has launched a website, www.iwantareferendum.com and is planning a series of events over the next few months and an advert to be shown in cinemas.
