A CIDER event will be held again this year after a successful first festival of the year.

BroadCider will return on Sunday, August 26, after the event which took place on Sunday, July 15 was so successful.

The event will return to the grounds of Broadway and Horton Cricket Club, near Ilminster.

In response to demand for a bank holiday music festival in the area, promoters Fuelled By Cider have put together another outstanding line-up of original live music at this family-friendly one day event.

A high quality mixture of local and national acts will be performing from noon until 11pm, with something to suit all tastes.

Sean McGowan will be bringing his full band to headline the festival, preceded by the talent of ‘one man alt blues explosion’ Funke and The Two Tone Baby.

They will be joined by a strong support bill in the shape of The Surfin’ Birds, Palooka 5, Benny Mayhem, Stevie and The Masquerades, Ollie Dixon and Dirty Blueprint.

Tickets for the day are £15, with discounts for under 18s and under 5s. There is also limited camping for tents and camper vans available, which must be pre-booked online.

Kev Davis, Fuelled By Cider, said: “Support for live music events in the local area has been excellent and we’re delighted to be invited back again on the August bank holiday to run BroadCider 3.

“The venue, the people and the atmosphere have been outstanding at both previous events and we look forward to another hugely enjoyable event.”

Advance tickets are available from Bath Place Music in Taunton and Horton Post Office or online at fuelledbycider.com.
