MIDWIVES at Taunton's Musgrove Park Hospital are throwing a birthday party this weekend.
The bash is to celebrate the tenth birthday of the hospital's Bracken birth centre.
The do will on the Jubilee Concourse lawn on Sunday, from 2pm to 5pm, will mark a decade of the Bracken facility, as well as its sister birthing centre, the Mary Stanley Unit at Bridgwater Hospital, and Musgrove's home birth team.
Members of the public are welcome to attend the family-friendly party, which will have music, food, health promotion stands and games.
The midwifery team will also launch its £2,000 fundraising campaign to improve Bracken’s environment.
She added: "We look forward to sharing Bracken’s 10th birthday with you, so please come join the celebrations."
Sally Bryant, maternity matron at Musgrove, said anyone interested in helping with the campaign should e-mail fundraising@tst.nhs.uk
