THREE CCTV cameras in Burnham-on-Sea have been upgraded to high definition in a bid to crackdown on boy racers in the town.
Sedgemoor District Council announced earlier this year that they would be installing a new CCTV system at Pier Street car park to assist police in identifying and apprehending offenders.
A spokesman for SDC, said: "The first three cameras in Burnham-on-Sea have been upgraded to high definition.
"This will help Sedgemoor’s CCTV staff working alongside Police, as they will have even clearer images to work with."
