ENCAMPMENT: The travellers encampment near Blackbrook Business Park
TRAVELLERS who pitched up on a road near Blackbrook Business Park in Taunton have now vacated the site.
The travellers had moved onto the site on Monday and left the site last night (Tuesday, June 19).
As the encampment was on an adopted highway, it fell under Somerset County Council's jurisdiction.
A spokesman for SCC confirmed this morning (Wednesday, June 20) that the travellers had vacated the site.
