ONE person has been rushed to hospital after a four car crash on the M5.
Emergency services were called to the scene between junction 23 and junction 24 at around 11.40pm yesterday (April 25).
A spokesman for South western Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 11.40pm to reports of a road traffic collision.
"We attended with two ambulances, an operations officer and a rapid response vehicle.
"One patient was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital and three patients were treated on scene."
It is not known how bad the injuries were at this stage.
Fire crews were also called to the scene.

Initial reports suggested a HGV had been involved, but a spokesman for Highways England later confirmed the lorry had stopped to helped.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue said: "Three fire appliances from Bridgwater attended a road traffic collision on the M5 involving four vehicles.
"There were no casualties trapped, and Police, Ambulance and Highways were in attendance.
"Crews provided lighting and made the vehicles safe.
"Four casualties were treated by paramedics. Duty of care was left with the Police and Ambulance."
