A GROUP of travellers who have set up camp near Apex Park in Burnham-on-Sea have been served with court papers.
The travellers pitched up on a grassed area on Marine Drive, which is owned by Sedgemoor District Council (SDC), on Monday (April 23).
The council served them with a notice yesterday (April 24) giving them 24 hours to move on from the area.

Today (April 25) SDC went to Weston-super-Mare County Court to apply for a possesion order and has now served the travellers with court papers.
A spokesman for SDC, said: "The travellers are still on site.
"We have issued and served them with the court papers
"We have a hearing before Weston super Mare County Court on Monday, April 30 at 10am."
