SEDGEMOOR councillors have received updates on the work being carried out by organisations awarded Community Health Fund cash.
St Marys School Bridgwater, was awarded £1,090 from the fund and has a gardening project within the grounds of the school.
The cash helped purchase a shed and equipment to maintain the project.
Man v Fat, a group run for men in Bridgwater who have started to play football and lose weight together, received £460 towards equipment And the Somerset Activity and Sports Partnership (SASP) set up events on the Sydenham and Hamp estates to encourage residents and their children to explore more of their locality through treasure hunting, geo-caching and orienteering.
The fund contributed £820 towards the work.
