TWO people have been taken to hospital and there are long delays on the M5 northbound near Burnham-on-Sea following a crash.
The multi-vehicle crash happened between J22 (Burnham-on-Sea) and J21 (Weston-super-Mare) on the M5 just after 3pm.
A spokesman for South Western Ambulance Service said a number of ambulances were sent to the scene.
"Two patients have been taken onto Bristol Royal Infirmary for further treatment and those walking wounded with minor injuries have been taken onto Southmead Hospital to be checked over," the spokesman said.
"Their injuries include shock and neck pain."
All lanes of the motorway have now been reopened but motorists are experiencing hour long delays down to J23 (Bridgwater).
