BUSY office workers in Bridgwater will now have somewhere to grab a quick bite as a new restaurant has opened in the town.

Powwow- Eat and Meet opened its doors in January in the Exchange Building at the Express Park in Bridgwater and is aimed at office workers and business owners.

Rob Finlayson, owner of Powwow-Eat and Meet, said: "We are somewhere customers can grab a quick bite to eat on their lunch break, as well as somewhere with a professional atmosphere to hold business meetings, both one to one and in groups of up to 15."

The restaurant has links to businesses in the Express Park including Mallard Court, Bridgwater Police Station, Toolstation and Refresco and to the M5 with garage and Premier Inn just a stones throw away.

Mr Finlayson said the restaurant is working on a corporate catering menu which will be available for clients to order to their offices and said since it opened the response to the restaurant has been 'overwhelmingly positive'.
