BRIDGWATER drama teacher Beth Hampton and twin Rebecca will run the London Marathon in aid of a cancer charity.

The sisters have been inspired to tackle the 26-mile run after seeing friends and family members fight the disease.

The pair, who only have 12 weeks to prepare for the run after recently learning their applications have been successful, will be raising money for Breast Cancer Care.

But this is not Beth’s only challenge – she is a new mum and will be juggling her maternal responsibilities with training and her drama teacher job at Chilton Trinity School.

Bridgwater Mercury:

Chilton Trinity is an award-winning school and students and staff raise multiple thousands each year for charity.

Beth said: “We have also watched other friends fight this battle and we will be thinking of those that are still fighting and for those loved ones who sadly aren't with us anymore.

“Breast Cancer Care provides support and information for women and their families, offering emotional and practical support and we are delighted to be raising essential funds for them.”
