A CAR has been recovered and a driver is being hunted after a hit and run incident in Burnham-on-Sea.
Police are on the hunt for the driver of a Volkswagen Passat, while another car linked to the driver was located in the Knowle area of Bristol.
The VW Passat failed to stop for officers in Burnham-on-Sea at 3.30pm yesterday (January 17) and collided with a Kia on Adam Street a short time later.
An elderly man driving the Kia was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police, said: "We can confirm that a car was recovered in the Knowle area of Bristol that is linked to the driver.
"No arrests have been made and efforts to find the driver are ongoing.
"We are still trying to locate the car used in the incident, which is a VW Passat."
