TAUNTON residents could soon be chowing down on a dirty double dog or big kahuna burger as a new food chain looks to open in the town.
Hubbox, which has branches in Bristol, Exeter and Plymouth, wants to open in the site of the former Roots Cafe and Red-Hot Razzberry that has become an eyesore in the town.
The application, for the properties on on 27 and 28 North Street, was submit to Taunton Deane Borough Council for consideration.
The restaurant serves up a range of burgers, hotdogs and nachos.
Prices range from £5.95 to £12.95 for a burger. Fries are ordered separately.
The restaurant would have tables on two storeys of the building.
