FIREFIGHTERS were called to a workshop in Highbridge after reports a fire had broken out.
Three engines from Burnham on Sea and Bridgwater were called to Commerce Way, Highbridge, at around 5.10pm last night (December 13).
Staff had reported the fire, believed to be in an extraction unit, before putting it out themselves using three dry powder extinguishers.
The firefighters removed the panelling from around the unit in the welding workshop to check the fire hadn't spread.
One staff member was treated for minor burns to his hands by the fire crews but an ambulance was not needed.
