A SUSPECTED arson attack has seen crew rushed to a derelict building near Taunton.

Fire Control received multiple calls to a derelict building that was on fire shortly after 6pm today (October 16).

Three fire engines from Taunton were sent to the scene in Dene Road, Cotford St Luke.

The crews extinguished the fire in a small derelict pump house using two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and one safety jet.

A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue service said the cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate.
