Crunch meeting will decide whether Taunton Carnival goes ahead
A MEETING is being held tonight to discuss whether Taunton Carnival will go ahead after safety concerns were raised following a horrific incident at Chard Carnival.
A woman was left with life-threatening injuries after she was trapped under a carnival float at Chard Carnival on Saturday (October 14).
Taunton Carnival Committee called an emergency meeting tonight (October 16) to discuss whether the carnival will go ahead.
A decision is expected after the meeting.
