BP petrol filling station gets approval
A PROPOSED new petrol filling station has been given the green light by planners.
The development at Norton Fitzwarren was given conditional approval by Taunton Deane Borough Council on Wednesday.
BP Oil UK Ltd wants to demolish the existing buildings at Cross Keys to redevelop the petrol filling station.
The scheme includes building a sales premises, replacing underground tanks and installing four pump islands.
There will also be a canopy with two jet wash bays, alterations to the forecourt, car parking, landscaping and boundary treatment at Cross Keys Car Sales.
