THREE fire engines were called to a fire that was out by the time they arrived on the scene.
The call went out at 1.30pm today (Tuesday) to a kitchen fire in a home in Needhams Patch, Cotford St Luke.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Crews confirmed there had been a small fire in an oven which was out on arrival.
"It was inspected with a thermal image camera and no further action was taken."
