A KNIFE-wielding robber stole a woman's purse, jewellery after approaching her in her car - and then ordered her out of the vehicle and drove off.
The man went up to the 45-year-old woman as she was sitting in her parked car in Montpelier, Weston-super-Mare.
He initially asked her for directions and then pulled out a knife and demanded she hand over the purse, jewellery and the car at about 8am today (Friday).
The car is described as a silver Audi A3, registration FY05 OYZ.
The offender is white, in his 50s, with blue eyes, of medium build, with light coloured hair.
He was wearing a grey woolly hat, grey or light coloured hooded top and was carrying a small bladed knife and a screwdriver.
