A CHILTON Trinity school staff member is taking her amazing charity fundraising efforts to new heights.

Reception manager, Helen McElligott raised nearly £1,000 for two charities after hurtling herself 15,000 feet out of a plane - the highest you can jump without oxygen.

Now Miss McElligott is planning to take the next step in her daredevil fundraising by taking on a wing walk.

Her charity jump raised the money for Musgrove Leukaemia Group Somerset (MLGS) in recognition of all the hard work and commitment to the charity by her close friend Margaret Smith.

She also raised money for Bloodwise in memory of former student Luke Buckingham, who sadly passed away November 2015, aged just 30 years old.

Miss McElligott said: "I really, really loved the jump. I wasn't scared in the slightest and can't now wait for the wing-walking. Others have inspired me so much which is why I wanted to do the jump.

"My close dear friend, Margaret Smith does a lot for the charity and I wanted to raise the money in recognition for all her hard work and commitment."
