RESIDENTS at Burnworthy House enjoyed a new entertaining event when a cockney one man show rolled into town.
Roll Out The Barrel was held on May 13 and featured an hour of traditional cockney entertainment, including Knees Up Mother Brown, The Laughing Policeman, I’ve Got A Lovely Bunch of Coconuts, Lambeth Walk, My Old Man, Burlington Bertie, Henry The Eighth, and Flanagan and Allan.
The show was performed by Simon Wheeler.
Jaine Thorne, of Burnworthy House, said: “ It was excellent, we have never seen them laugh so much. It was wonderful for visitors to see the happy atmosphere at Burnworthy.”
