A CHARD hairdressing salon has proved it is a cut above the rest recently after receiving a three-star rating by a leading quality standards scheme.
Hair Structure, on High Street, received the honour by the Good Salon Guide - the only independent guide to quality standards in hairdressing in the UK and Eire.
Dawn Penn, chairman of the Good Salon Guide, said: "I am delighted that Hair Structure has succeeded in reaching the standards required to become a member of the Good Salon Guide.
"The Good Salon Guide is a signpost to the professional status of hairdressers and will ensure that clients can have confidence in their choice of hairdresser."
Delighted Nikki Knight, Hair Structure salon owner, said: "The Good Salon Guide is the long awaited measure that enables clients to know their hairdresser is a true professional."
