THE Edinburgh Woollen Mill has confirmed it is opening a new store in Taunton next month, creating seven jobs.

Work is underway converting the former Burger King premises in High Street ahead of it opening on Friday, June 2, at 9am.

The first 20 customers buying any items in store will receive a goody bag.

And 20 lucky visitors who find envelopes hidden around the store will walk away with a voucher to spend in the shop.

Susan Martin, area manager for the Taunton store, said: “We are delighted to bring The Edinburgh Woollen Mill to Taunton and I’m confident the store will be a superb addition to the town’s existing retail offering.

“I’d like to welcome shoppers in the area to stop by the store during our opening celebrations.

"Our first customers have the chance to snap up a goody bag and take part in a competition to find hidden vouchers.

“The store will be open in time for locals to refresh their wardrobes with our seasonal collections ahead of the summer.”

The new store will feature The Edinburgh Woollen Mill’s men’s and ladies' wear, including Country Rose, Isle, Honor Millburn, and One Valley, as well as a full range of gifts and accessories.
