CHILTON Trinity's reception manager is taking a jump from 10,000 feet in the sky for a second time to raise money for charity.

Brave Helen McElligott is doing a tandem skydive on Wednesday, May 31 from10,000ft in the air to help raise money for Musgrove Leukemic Group Somerset (MLGS) and Bloodwise.

A close friend of Helen's, Margaret Smith, does a lot for the MLGS charity in Somerset, and Helen wants to do the skydive in recognition of her hard work and commitment.

She has chosen the charities in memory of former Chilton Trinity student Luke Buckingham who died of leukaemia in 2015 aged 30.

This is Miss McElligott's second skydive from 10,000ft. In 2004 she helped helped raise enough funds for the school to purchase two mini-buses.

Miss McElligott said: "This will be the second skydive I will be doing. I am very excited to be taking part but even more so because of the money that will be raised and donated to such worthwhile causes."

If anyone would like to donate any money to Helen McElligott for her doing this skydive, all the money donated will be greatly received and can be made via Chilton Trinity reception.
