Cooker fire in Watchet tackled by fire crews
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a cooker fire in the Watchet area this afternoon.
Two engines from Williton attended the incident at Wedlakes at 4.19pm.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "A small fire within cooker was extinguished by turning the cooker off and shutting the door.
"Crews ventilated the property. The cause of the fire was accidental."
