VOTERS in Sedgemoor are being urged to make sure they are registered to vote at the upcoming Somerset County Council elections.
Residents will head to the polls to cast their votes on Thursday, May 4.
Sedgemoor District Council is reminding voters that they need to register by the deadline of April 13 otherwise they won’t be able to take part in the elections on May 4.
It’s quick and easy to register, but after the deadline of April 13, it will be too late.
Young people, students and recent home movers are particularly less likely to be registered to vote.
So if you have moved house recently, then make sure you’re registered correctly.
