STUDENTS from  Lympsham Church of England Academy put their building skills to the test as they built bird feeders as part of 'Waste Week'.

Pupils spent last week designing and building their own bird feeder or recycled garden product and teachers say the children had a great time making their nature themed creations. 

A spokesman for Lympsham Church of England School said: “To celebrate Waste week in conjunction with Eco Schools, children were invited to take part in a deisgn and make their own bird feeder or recycled garden Product.

"Out of 119 children at the school 45 took part in this”

"The children had a great time building the bird feeders.

"Well done to all of the students for their efforts and achievement.”
