THE FRIENDS of Essex House Medical Centre has raised enough money to purchase the survey some new life saving equipment.
Rose Kneil, secretary of the group, said: “The Friends has recently purchased some pre-filled adrenaline pens for cases of Allergic Anaphylactic shock. These will be stored at the surgery for emergencies.
“Also we have purchased some new fire retardant pillows and covers. At the recent fair in The Guildhall, Chard we made £35.80 profit.
“Our next stall will be at Chris’ Popular Fair on Saturday, April 1, from 9 am to 12.30 pm.”
FEHMC’s AGM is set to be held on Monday, April 10 from 10am in Chard Wetherspoons.
