ED Sheeran has been confirmed as the third headliner at this year's Glastonbury Festival.
The slot completes a rapid journey up the Glastonbury bill for the singer songwriter, who first appeared at Worthy Farm in 2011 with a performance in the Croissant Neuf tent in the Green Fields and last played the festival in 2014.
A festival spokesman said: "We’re pleased to confirm the news that Ed Sheeran will close this year’s Glastonbury Festival with a Sunday night headline set on the Pyramid Stage.
"Ed just announced the news on his Instagram page. This will be his only festival show of 2017."
The confirmation is another success for my Glastonbury Festival predictions - have I got any more right?
