ALLERFORD is hosted its annual Open Day - a spring celebration of all that’s on offer in the West Somerset village.

There were events and displays throughout Saturday, March 11 including demonstrations by the blacksmiths at Allerford Forge, a spring flower and bulb show at the community hall and a chance to peruse the recently refurbished West Country Rural Life Museum and much more.

National Trust Rangers were on hand to help visitors learn about the new Hedgerow Regeneration Scheme in the cobbled courtyard at Linhay.

Allerford Community Hall & Recreation Ground held the Spring Flower & Produce Show which included a variety of categories for old and young to take part in.
