MORE than 200 people turned out for a recruitment fair held at Minehead's Beach Hotel.
More than 25 employers and five training providers turned out to the fair organised by West Somerset Council and Jobs Centre Plus which took place on Friday, February 24.
Cllr Andrew Hadley, Minehead Central ward member, said: “It was a fantastic to see so many diverse business with real opportunities available to residents of West Somerset taking part in in the Recruit West Somerset Event.
“There were clearly vacancies available to all abilities and ages from apprenticeship for school leavers, training opportunities for people looking to change their career direction to fully qualified people required to work in the many areas of the Hinkley Point C project."
