Burnham firefighters release trapped casualty after car crash
BURNHAM firefighters have helped release a man from his car following a two car crash.
The incident took place on Weston Road at Edingwoth near 5pm.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue said: "Crews got to work to stabilise the vehicle, removing the roof and doors with hydraulic cutting equipment.
"Shortly before 6pm one male casualty was conveyed to hospital by road ambulance."
