BURNHAM-on-Sea and Highbridge residents are feeling the full force of Storm Doris as high speed winds hit the coastal town.
Residents struggled as they walked down Victoria Street earlier today as harsh winds reached between 60 and 70 mph.
It is believed Churchfield School in Highbridge will closed for the rest of the week due to the poor weather conditions.
The Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for the South West and said winds are likely to reach speeds of up to 70mph.
