A FIRE involving a vehicle carrying gas cylinders saw crews rushed to Blackbrook Way in Taunton last night.
One fire engine from Taunton was sent to the scene shortly after 7pm yesterday (January 19).
On arrival, crews confirmed a commercial vehicle carrying oxygen cylinders well alight and requested for an additional fire appliance to be mobilised.
Crews extinguished the fire using two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, small tools and a thermal imaging camera.
The fire completely destroyed the engine compartment of the vehicle. The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
