THE inquest into the death of woman who died after a car crash has been adjourned indefinitely.

Nicoleta Sabau died on October 6 at Taunton's Musgrove Park Hospital following the crash in St Michael's Road, Creech St Michael, early on the previous day.

Post mortem tests showed Romanian-born Mrs Sabau, 27, of Polden Road, Bridgwater, who had not been wearing a seat belt, died from moving blunt force head injuries, senior Somerset coroner Tony Williams said.

He told an inquest hearing that fellow Romanian Catalin Busila, 22, of Church Passage, Bridgwater, had been jailed for 30 months for causing her death by dangerous driving and for 15 months (concurrent) for causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

He was also banned from driving for 63 months.
